Many people see me for psychotherapy. Others primarily work with another psychotherapist and see me only for medication treatment. Still others see me in consultation and then continue to work with their primary care physicians once their symptoms have resolved. My fees vary depending on how long our sessions last. Psychopharmacology follow up sessions usually last fifteen to thirty minutes. There is considerable variability in the intervals between meetings depending on the needs of the person at the particular time.
Because my schedule tends to be tight, I ask for 72 hours' notice for cancellations. Generally I require payment at the time of the visit, and when necessary, I provide statements which can be submitted to insurance companies. Most private insurance companies, including Harvard Pilgrim and Blue Cross Blue Shield PPOs, will cover at least part of the cost of working with me.
